My life is like a large book, way too much to bore you with, so I will give you the highlights.
I came to Bakersfield in 1989 from the L.A. area. I have a son & daughter, and 4 grown grandchildren. I am blessed with 5 sisters and 1 brother. Life here in Bakersfield has been very busy. I worked as a Nurse . Then I decided I wanted to work Real Estate. I eventually became a Broker and had my own office.
Last year I decided to semi retire after 42+ years, I felt it was time to smell the roses. I took up cycling with Kern Wheelman and Bike Bakersfield road 105 miles for MS. Such a reward & fun!
I have been with Smooth Dancers for 6 years. They have become my other family. I thank Joan Johnson for introducing me to my new dancing life. There is always something new and exciting to learn. I find that my mind and my heart have always danced, not ever knowing there is a method to it, steps and counting, what??
Now I have the honor of representing Bakersfield Smooth Dancers as their Queen Elect. I hope to get to know each of you better. I hope to see you on the dance floor soon. Keep smiling, keep the world guessing what you are up to? they will ask! Then invite them to the joy of dancing.
